Our Founders joined in partnership and belief to create a space for children wth special needs to flourish emotionally and academically through art.

Joelyne Gold received her degree in Art and is currently obtaining her Master degree in Social Work at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked with children and young adults in the community for over 8 years and especially enjoys working with the developmentally disabled.  Joelyne has lived in the Las Vegas community for over 20 years and she is an activist for the rights of the disabled.

Susan Herr received her degree in Social Studies with a minor in Education from Ashford University in Iowa and will be entering the Master of Education program at UNLV with an emphasis on Special Education. She has been working with severely handicapped and special education students in Southern California and recently moved back to her home town of Las Vegas to be closer to family. 

Our staff and volunteers are skilled and certified in everything from Liberal Arts to Art Therapy allowing us the academic qualifications as well as the diversity to accomodate learners of all circumstance. All of our volunteers are fingerprinted and have passed a comprehensive background check.
